ESL PUBG MASTERS AMERICAS PHASE 2: DETAILS, REGISTRATION AND MORE!
We know you are all hyped for the conclusion of PUBG Continental Series 4, but we wanted to keep the action moving, so PUBG Americas Esports is about to kick off registration for the ESL PUBG Masters Americas: Phase 2 (referred to as “ESL PUBG Masters” going forward), with the Open Qualifiers starting on July 14th! Take a look below for more information on the structure of the event and how to sign up!
NA and LATAM will have their own qualifier and Group Stage and then be coming together to compete as the combined Americas region during the Grand Final. This announcement covers the NA qualifier, however, if you're interested in information around the LATAM qualifier, please find the Spanish article here or the Portuguese article here for more information about your sub-region.
Open Qualifiers will begin on July 14th, with each of the three rounds consisting of 2 days with 6 matches each day, for a total of 12 matches per round. The top teams from each lobby, using the Point Rule scoring system found in SUPER, move onto the next round. The exact lobby composition will depend on the amount of sign-ups so make sure you check ESL Play for the exact number of teams moving forward each round. The top 8 teams from the Round of 16 (Ro16) will move onto the ESL PUBG Masters NA Group Stage, where they will compete against the top 16 teams invited directly from PUBG Continental Series 4 (PCS4) for a spot in the ESL PUBG Masters Grand Final.
Rules to Note:
Sign-ups for teams close on Monday, July 12th at 11:59pm PT. Check in for all teams will open two hours prior to the first game and close one hour prior to the first game. Teams that fail to check in will be disqualified.

As previously mentioned, NA and LATAM will have separate Group Stages. The ESL PUBG Masters NA Group Stage will begin on July 23rd, consisting of 3 matches days. The top sixteen (16) teams from the PCS4 Americas NA Group Stage will be joined by 8 teams that qualified through the ESL PUBG Masters NA Open Qualifier. Teams will be placed into groups of 8 (Groups A, B, and C) and each group will play 2 out of the 3 days. Seedings from these groups will be a snake draft determined by the placements in the PCS4 Americas NA Group Stage, Last Chance Qualifier and Grand Final followed by the top 8 teams from the NA Open Qualifier by placement. Group Stage will be a Best of 18 (Bo18) over three (3) days where the top 8 teams advance to the ESL PUBG Masters Grand Final, and the bottom 16 teams will be eliminated. The Group Stage will follow the Most Chicken Ruleset.
