Down but not out! That’s the best way to describe the fierce competitors in the PUBG Continental Series 6 (PCS6) Americas Last Chance Qualifier. The 7th-14th placed teams of the LATAM and NA PCS6 Regional Playoffs will face off in the PCS6 Last Chance Qualifier! There they will play for the final four spots in the PCS6 Americas Grand Final and their portions of the $20,000 USD Prize Pool.
The Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) offers each team the chance to redeem themselves. Many of these teams were just a point or two away from securing their spot in the Grand Final. They’ve been given another chance, but not an easy one. Twelve matches over two days, with half the lobby from a whole other continent.
16 teams, 12 matches, 4 spots, 1 weekend, and $20,000, the LCQ is poised to be an amazing weekend of competition. Not only is the roster filled with veteran teams like Synergy Esports and the Young Kings from LATAM and Soniqs and Dodge from NA, but many of these teams recently faced off in the ESL PUBG Americas Masters Grand Final just last month. The international reunion of rivals is bound to lead to some epic showdowns.
FORMAT & SCHEDULE
The Last Chance Qualifier will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 26th and 27th. Eight teams from the NA Regional Playoff and LATAM Regional Playoff have combined to play for the final four spots in the PCS6 Americas Grand Final. - 12 Matches (6 each day)
- ‘Most Points’ ruleset
The top 4 performers at the LCQ not only secure their place in the PCS6 Americas Grand Final, but they also take home the largest chunk of the $20,000 USD Prize Pool. While not every team will move on, everyone will be taking home some of the pool.
